The story of Flowers Made Easy
It all started in the early 80’s a housewife by the name of Mary Grant started supplying small amounts of flowers in to local shops in the Dublin straight from her kitchen table. Over the years 1 shop became 2 and 2 soon became 4. The business grew steadily to the point that it had to grow or close. In June 2006, the brand Flowers Made Easy was set up in a 600 square foot warehouse by Mary Grant, her husband Michael and their son Eamonn. Within 3 months they had a website set up and 3 months after that they had grown to become the biggest online flower business in the country.
The business has grown from strength to strength and has won many awards for floristry and business over the years. In 2008 we moved from that small 600 sq ft building to a purpose built 10,000 sq ft facility in Sandyford Industrial Estate in Dublin where they are based today to accommodate the growth.
The business diversified also with Anna Grant, Mary’s daughter in law. coming on board and assisting with the growth and expansion of other area’s including WholesaleFlowers.ie – which is Ireland’s leading wholesale florist and HobbyFlorist.ie, the only dedicated website for Flower Arrangers and HobbyFlorists anywhere in the world.
Floristry courses, training and demonstrations are what we love to do more than anything. It’s our opportunity to pass on the skills and knowledge we as florists have picked up over the years and push the boundaries of floral creativity.
We would absolutely love if you would join us for one of our courses which will hopefully start what will be a lifelong relationship between you and Flowers Made Easy where we will help you every step of the way.
